Frequently asked questions
The essentials on reconstitution, dosing, titration and protocols. Informational and research content.
General
What is a peptide?
A peptide is a short chain of amino acids (the building blocks of proteins). Many peptides occur naturally in the body and take part in cell signaling — sleep, recovery, metabolism, tissue repair. The content of this site is informational and for research purposes.
Does this site replace medical advice?
No. All information (guides, dosages, protocols, tools) is provided for informational and research purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice and does not replace consulting a healthcare professional.
How do I choose a peptide by research focus?
Each peptide is linked to a research focus (sleep, recovery, body composition, skin, cognition…): the catalog can be filtered by category to group them. The comparator lets you place 2 to 3 peptides side by side to compare dosages, frequency and documented properties. This information is provided for research purposes and calls for caution.
Reconstitution
What is bacteriostatic water (BAC)?
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water with added benzyl alcohol (0.9%) that inhibits bacterial growth. It is the recommended solvent for reconstituting a lyophilized peptide intended for multiple injections over several days or weeks.
How do I calculate the concentration after reconstitution?
Concentration = amount of peptide (mg) ÷ volume of water added (ml). For example, 10 mg in 2 ml gives 5 mg/ml (i.e. 5000 mcg/ml). Use the reconstitution calculator on the Tools page: it automatically converts to mcg/ml and to syringe units (U100/U50/U30).
How do I store a reconstituted peptide?
Once reconstituted, the peptide is kept in the refrigerator (2–8 °C), away from light. Reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, it generally keeps for several weeks. Un-reconstituted lyophilized powder keeps longer, ideally in the freezer.
Injection & dosing
What do the U100 units on a syringe mean?
A U-100 insulin syringe is graduated for 100 units per milliliter: 1 IU = 0.01 ml. U-50 (0.5 ml) and U-30 (0.3 ml) syringes offer finer reading for small volumes. The calculator converts your dose into IU according to the chosen syringe.
What is titration and why start low?
Titration means starting with a low dose and then increasing gradually in stable steps (often every 2 to 4 weeks). It allows individual tolerance to be assessed and adverse effects to be reduced. Consistency matters more than intensity.
What areas are described for the subcutaneous route?
Research protocols describe the subcutaneous areas as the abdomen (away from the navel), the outer thigh and the upper arm, rotating the sites to protect the tissues. The area is disinfected and a new, sterile needle is used for each handling. See the Tutorials page for details on the areas.
Protocols
What is the protocol generator for?
It builds a multi-week plan from the peptide, dose and frequency: it calculates the volumes per injection, manages titration steps and estimates the number of vials and syringes needed for the whole cycle.
Can several peptides be combined?
Some peptides are studied in combination for complementary effects (the sheets indicate possible synergistic combinations). Any combination increases complexity and must be approached with caution and, ideally, the support of a healthcare professional.
Order & delivery
How do I place an order?
Build your cart on the site, then confirm your order by entering your details (identity, delivery address, contact). Once the order is recorded, you receive our bank details (IBAN) by email to pay by bank transfer; include your order number as the transfer reference, which is how we match your payment to your order.
How does payment work?
The site includes no online payment module: no payment is made at the time of the order. After your cart is confirmed, an email provides our bank details (IBAN): you pay by bank transfer, including your order number as the reference. We identify your payment from that reference — no proof to send.
What are the delivery times and costs?
Shipping costs depend on the destination: €5 for France and Belgium, and €15 for all other destinations (rest of the European Union, United Kingdom and Norway). The indicative delivery time is 5 to 10 business days from confirmation of payment; this time is not contractual.
Where are the products delivered?
We deliver to France as well as to most European Union countries, the United Kingdom, Norway and Switzerland. The full list of deliverable countries is offered when you confirm your order.
Will I receive an order confirmation?
Yes. A summary email of your order is sent to you, with our bank details (IBAN) for payment by transfer. Include your order number as the transfer reference so we can identify your payment. The order is only considered firm after confirmation that payment has been received.
